My Current Run Gear

See what gear I have reviewed here.

Current Clothing:

It’s hot, which means lots of sweat!  So you need something to keep you cool and the stink to a minimum.  I don’t always wear this specific shirt and shorts, but they are my favorite!  I always wear Lululemon!

Lululemon Metal Vent Tech Tank

Lululemon Tank

Keeps you cool and if you don’t have time to wash it, you will be okay for 2-3 days before you need to get it in the wash, the silverscent in the material really does work.

Lululemon 5″ Surge Short

Surge Short

Keeps you nice and cool during the run.  I was worried without a full lining (basket only) there wouldn’t be enough support, after the first run my worries went away.

Current Shoes:

Brooks Glycerin 12 Ombre

Glycerin 12

I didn’t think it could get better than the 11’s, it does!  The shoes are light, have solid support, a large toe-box, and an all around great feel on the foot.  The colors are awesome too!  When comfort and style come together like this you have an almost perfect shoe!

Current Gadgets:

Garmin Forerunner 200

ForeRunner 220

For a long time I used an app to track my running, but we all know how they go, you forget to start it, it stops, something always seemed to be going wrong and forget about distance accuracy.  The Forerunner 220 has so many great features, it is easy to use, affordable, and perfect for the beginner to the experienced runner who is solely looking for a running-only watch.

Current Eyewear:

Maui Jim’s Banyans

Banyans

Style and eye protection come together as one with these.  They have great UV protection and can go from the race course to the office!

What is your favorite piece of running gear?
